I have a special treat for you today, in Episode 3 of Unless: Stories of Everyday Earth Savers.
Today I interview Kim Savino of the Start Seeing Monarchs initiative.
We talk about how Kim was inspired by her childhood experiences with her father and butterflies to pursue a career in education. We then discuss how Kim began a classroom zoo to provide experiential learning for her students, and how she turned this into a new initiative “Start Seeing Monarchs”; using community education to promote butterfly way stations and awareness about the importance of pollinators.
